Organising it into a compelling essay that interests an audience is elusive. One that comes to mind in the title category is Dele Ojo/Tunji Oyelana’s Enia Bi Aparo. Regarding genre standards, I think a lot about JO Olofin’s Moti b’oko de Calabar and Segun Awe’s cover in his Survival LP. Ambrose Campbell and Tunde Nightingale’s versions of Iwa D’erekere are very lovely. Campbell and Rolling Dollar’s take on Eroya, etc etc.

Great article! 'Iya ni wura' and 'je kowo wole mi' are the songs that immediately come to mind when I think of him.
Have you considered an article that discusses songs with the same name but by different artists, such as 'iya ni wura' by Dipo Sodipo and Dele Ojo?
